Yoga is known to promote physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being. It is a reliable method to cure certain ailments as well. One more added advantage that yoga has is that it actually removes the toxins from our body and cleanses our body from within. This detoxification of body and soul not only purifies the body from inside it also makes our mind more conscious about appropriate fitness choices.
The circulatory, endocrine and digestive system work relentlessly to remove the metabolic toxins from our body. At times due to external factors like wrong eating habits, overeating results in excess of external toxins which results in failure of body’s natural detoxifying system to function efficiently due to the overload. This is where yoga helps. It has the same function that oiling has to a machine. It revitalizes and stimulates the body’s detoxifying system to remove the toxins from our body.
Yoga involves controlled breathing wherein oxygen is taken in and the body throws out the toxic carbon dioxide. One sweats while performing the various poses. Sweating is also a natural means of removal of body toxins. All waste material from the body is brought to the kidneys and the liver from where the elimination of toxins happens. Therefore proper functioning of these organs is a must. Yoga promotes relaxation and proper blood circulation of the internal organs so that they can function more competently.
