This facility excretes the cholesterol from your body. Thus by consuming oats regularly will control your cholesterol levels.

Remedy: Eating soluble fiber about five grams a day will lower down the ‘bad’ cholesterol levels by 5 percent. The best part about oats is they can be added in Indian dishes if you if you hate them as a porridge. While preparing pongal or dosa use oats as a substitute for a small amount of rice.
