There are many solutions like applying sunscreen lotion before leaving your home, covering your face with scarfs, using cucumber creams etc. Bur prevention is always better than cure! It is better to nourish your skin and prepare it for the heat. Face packs are the best medium to restore dry skin and protect it from the harmful effects of sunrays. 1.Papaya face pack:

Papaya fruit is rich in vitamins and minerals. It nourishes skin. It moisturizes skin up to extent where it cannot be destroyed due to dryness. It is therefore best option for restoring dry skin. It also adds glow to the skin. Due to this qualities papaya acts as a healing agent for a dry skin.

Procedure:

  • Blend papaya with honey and oatmeal thoroughly.
  • Apply it to your face.
  • Place strips of cotton cloth over it to avoid it from dripping down.
  • Let the paste dry.
  • Rinse your face and then wash it clean with the water.

2.Yoghurt face pack:

Yoghurt has the ability to retain moisture in the skin. It also revives dry skin. Moreover honey added to this pack acts as skin tightening agent. It also acts as natural bleach.

Procedure:

  • Take two tablespoon of yoghurt in a bowl.
  • Add one tablespoon of honey to it.
  • Blend yoghurt and honey together thoroughly.
  • Apply paste to your face evenly and let it dry for few minutes.
  • Wash and clean your face.

3. Sandalwood face pack:

Sandalwood has been used as beautifying agent since olden times. Sandalwood oil too has capacity to heal dry skin. Rose water when added to sandalwood works best as a cleanser.

  • Take sandalwood powder in a bowl.
  • Add rose water as per requirement to make fine thick paste.
  • Apply face evenly on your face.

  • Take oats and little cucumber in a bowl. Make a fine paste.

  • Soak 2-3 almonds in water for one day.
  • Next day grind them into fine paste.
  • Add some rose water to it. Apply this paste on your skin.
