Have you ever imagined yourself to flaunt and wave your hair like a public figure or a celebrity? Ever dreamt of having thick and smooth hair? Here’s a change for your dreams come true. Using the right techniques for hair treatment before and after shampooing can help smooth and lustrous, silky hair in your reach. Either ways, ignorance to your hair health can make them dull, frizzy, undernourished etc. You can try some of these remedies to get rid of frizzy and undernourished hair
 

To start with, you should first know what factors are responsible for damaging hair. Here are they-Pollution – Carbons dioxide and other chemicals emitted from vehicles, Stress-lots of mental stress, Exhaustion –over exertion of physical activities, Chlorine in swimming pool water, over exposure to sun, split ends, heavy hair loss etc.
Let’s have an eye on these methods, which can benefit you to gain hair health naturally.

Method 1: Daily Hair Care:

Massage you hair scalp with coconut oil before shampooing vigorously in circles. You can also warm coconut oil before applying. This helps in quick action. Oil helps in proper nourishment to hair roots and scalp.

Use proper shampoo which is suitable for your hair. Different companies launch products for different hair types. Products label always mention them like suitable for dry hair or so on. Choose your right one. Massage you scalp once again to remove excess oil (again in circular motion).

Step 3: Cold / Warm water:

Always wash your hair with cold water as possible. If you cannot resist cold water you can rinse your hair warm water. Avoid using hot water to wash hair as hot water leads to frizzy and tangled hair.

Dry your hair with a towel or a hair dryer thoroughly. If you hair is dry, avoid using hair dryer as it may cause more dryness to your hair.

Use a wide bristled comb for wet hair so that tangles are removed easily. Do not comb with a common comb on wet hair. It may break your hair or even make them frizzy and rough.

Use proper conditioners after shampooing. Also if you leave little conditioner after rinsing, it will smoothen outer surface of the hair stands and give it a lustrous look. You can also use serums or leave-in conditioners, which are helpful for your hair.

As mentioned earlier, massaging with a coconut oil helps in proper nourishment to hair roots and scalp. It can retain moisture to dry and damaged hair. Similarly other oils like castor oil, olive oil or almond oil can be used for some purpose.

Eggs:

Being rich source of protein and fatty acids, egg white can also be used for nourishing hair strands making it long, thick and soft. It helps in restore moisture and shine. It also helps to repair dry and damaged hair.

Beer:

Unbelievable but true. Beer is a good hair medicine. It adds luster and shine to hair. It repairs damaged hair cuticles and provides nourishment to hair strands.

Honey using is a remedy for having shiny and lustrous hair. It retains moisture and makes hair soft and shiny.

Ayurvedic help to treat damaged hair:

Amla, Shikakai & Rita :

All the three are natural ingredients than can be used to make you own shampoo. Cook the 3 ingredients for some time. Then rub each other for soapy solution. Use it to wash your hair at least 2 to 3 times a week. You will get smooth and silky hair.

Aloe Vera:

Fresh aloe Vera gel can be used with above mixture to gain smooth and silky hair. It can also be used separately for hair scalp massage. It reduces fizziness of hair and reduces dandruff. Aloe Vera contains moisturizing property as well as antioxidants, vitamins and other compounds

Yoghurt:

Yoghurt acts as a good conditioner to hair. It makes hair soft and silky. Also it has antibacterial and antifungal properties, which help hair scalp to be clean and free from infections. It also helps in reducing dandruff.

A few additional tips to go with:

  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Do not tie your hair very tight, as it needs to breathe.
  • Also do not tie hair while sleeping. Keep them open.
  • Do not wash your hair often. It may lose its viscosity.
  • Be gentle with your hair while combing or brushing.
Trim the split ends every 3 or 4 months so that your hair can grow effectively
