We all have bad hair days. Though we try our level best to maintain our hair in the best possible ways by using expensive conditioners but the results are not always the way we anticipate them to be which leaves us with frizzy hair and demoralized heart.
 
In order to keep hair soft and beautiful it is important to condition our hair after we wash it .Conditioning is important in order to maintain the moisture in the hair so that they do become dry and ugly. If hair is not maintained well it becomes brittle and eventually leads to split ends.

The various hair problems that arise if you do not take proper care of your hair are:

  • Excessive use of hair care products, perming, ironing ca lead to excess hair loss.
  • Highly irritating and embarrassing hair problem is dandruff which is as a result of poor hygiene.
  • Dry and frizzy hair which is as a result of loss of moisture due to excess washing, heat treatments and chemical products.
  • Oily hair which is due excess action of the sebaceous glands.
Beautiful manageable shiny bouncing hair is no longer a distant dream. You can get the desired results by making some fantastic hair conditioners in your home itself. These conditioners are easy to make as the ingredients required are readily available with us. Along with the ease of making and being easy on our pockets these conditioners work like magic for our hair.

Procedure to make hair conditioners at home:

1. Banana, honey and olive oil conditioner:

Honey moisturizes the hair and has contents like vitamins and minerals that seal the moisture. Banana prevents shrinking of tresses while olive oil is an excellent moisturizer. This conditioner helps in giving straight and smooth hair.
  • Mash a ripe banana
  • Add 2 tablespoons of honey and two tablespoons of olive oil.
  • Mix well.
  • Apply the paste to the hair
  • Leave it for half an hour
  • Wash with water.
  • Use the conditioner every time you shampoo your hair.

2. Coconut oil and honey conditioner:

Honey moisturizes the hair and has contents like vitamins and minerals that seal the moisture. Coconut oil is also a good conditioner; it moisturizes the hair and prevents loss of keratin.
  • Take 3 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • To it add two tablespoons of honey
  • Mix well
  • Warm the mixture by keeping the bowl in a container containing hot water.
  • Apply the conditioner to wet hair and scalp.
  • Wash with water after 30 minutes.

3. Cinnamon, honey, egg and milk:

Honey moisturizes the hair and has contents like vitamins and minerals that seal the moisture while cinnamon improves blood circulation. Milk is a good moisturizer and also gives volume to the hair due to the presence of protein casein. Egg also moisturizes the hair and prevents dandruff.
  • Take 2 tablespoons of cinnamon powder
  • To it add 2 tablespoons of honey and 4 tablespoons of milk
  • Add 2 eggs to this mixture.
  • Add a little mayonnaise to the mixture.
  • Warm the mixture by keeping the bowl in a container containing hot water
  • Apply the conditioner to hair and scalp.
  • Wash with water after 30 minutes and then use a mild shampoo.

4. Orange, yougurt and coconut milk:

Yogurt has antibacterial action. Orange has vitamin C and flavanoids which promote hair growth. Orange makes the hair soft. Coconut milk has vitamin E and fats which nourishes and moisturizes the hair.
  • To one cup of yogurt add ¼ th cup of orange juice
  • Add an egg and lemon juice to this mixture
  • Now add ¼ th cup of coconut milk
  • Mix well
  • Apply it to hair
  • Wash with a mild shampoo after half an hour

5. Coconut milk and almond oil:

Almond oil nourishes and moisturizes the hair. Coconut milk has vitamin E and fats which nourishes and moisturizes the hair.
  • Mix 1 tablespoon of honey and one tablespoon of milk
  • Add this to one tablespoon of coconut mil
  • Add a few drops of almond oil
  • Add few drops of rosewater
  • Apply to the hair and cover it with a warm towel.
  • After 20 minutes wash with water
Regular use of these natural conditioners will give positive results in a few months. You will have soft shiny beautiful hair which are easy to manage and you no longer will have to face a bad hair day.
