Unattractive dark rings below the eyes are referred to as dark circles. In case of dark circles the thin skin below the eyes shows the blood vessels more prominently in comparison to other parts of the body. They have a very negative effect on the overall personality of the person and hence are vastly detested.
 
The symptoms of dark circle is the discoloration of the skin which is easily visible to the naked eyes.

Cucumber has a cooling effect and potatoes are helpful in lightening the colour as it is a good bleaching agent.
  • Peel one cucumber and one potato
  • Grate them.
  • Press against a sieve and extract the juice
  • Cool the juice in refrigerator.
  • Dip cotton pads in the juice.
  • Place on the dark circles for 20 minutes.
  • Wash with water.
  • Follow this remedy everyday. 

2. Tomato, turmeric, besan and lemon juice pack:

The antioxidants present in tomatoes help reduce dark circle. Lemon juice helps in skin lightening, turmeric has healing properties and both turmeric and besan are good for the skin.
  • Crush and extract the juice of one tomato.
  • To this add half tablespoon of lemon juice,2 tablespoons of besan and a pinch of turmeric powder.
  • Mix well
  • Apply on dark circles.
  • Wash with water after 20 minutes
  • This remedy can be followed everyday.

3. Mint Leave and lemon:

  • Make a paste of few mint leaves.
  • To this add few drops of lemon juice.
